With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel E. Tillman of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tillman and Moye Melette Tillman; and his brothers, Frank Tillman, Jr. and Wheeler M. Tillman. He is survived by: his children, S. Parker Tillman (Tiffany) of Moncks Corner, SC, Mary Elizabeth Tillman, Charleston and Laura Tillman Lee (Jonathan) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Bobby (Nellie), Jackson, Ben, Lily, Layla, Allison, Alycia, Lucy, Adam, Stella and David; his mother-in-law Shirley M. Shook of North Port, FL; and his pets, Millie and Gidget.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at the Sumter Cemetery (700 W Oakland Ave, Sumter, SC 29151).
