She was predeceased by: her parents, George Marion Henderson and Blanche Richey Henderson; and her siblings, Mickey Henderson, Olivia Sherard, Helen Spann, James E. "Bud" Henderson, Sr. and G. Marion "Moose" Henderson, Jr. (Matthews).
She is survived by: her sons, Charles C. Matthews, II (Melissa) of Moncks Corner and Michael G. Matthews (Joy) of Moncks Corner; her sister Amelia H. DeWitt (Wayne) of Goose Creek; and her grandchildren, Taylor Matthews, Emily Allen (Chris), Chipper Matthews and Eli Matthews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dial-Murray Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Berkeley Memorial Gardens (635 SC-6, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Omar Shriners Children's Fund, 176 Patriots Point, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
