He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Milton "Junior" Thornley, Jr. and Geraldine Jones Thornley; his son Edward M. "Ned" Thornley, IV; his brother Randall Jones Thornley; his daughters, Jodie T. Adams (Mike) of Moncks Corner and Tonya T. Bowen (Ken) of Walterboro; his brother Wendell W. "Winky" Thornley (Angela) of Moncks Corner; his grandchildren, Chelsie C. Mathews (James), Andrew Stout, Hunter Bowen, Oliver Bowen and Eragon Bowen; and his great grandchildren, Avory and Graham. He was also cherished by four step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the South Carolina Wildlife Federation, 1519 Richland Street, Columbia, SC 29201, in honor of Tony's lifelong dedication to the outdoors.
