We announce the death of Virginia M. Nahorny (Moncks Corner, South Carolina), who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 89. Virginia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Virginia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Fonnemann and Leona Bartsch Fonnemann; and her husband Thomas Joseph Nahorny. She is survived by: her children, Sue N. Gingher of Macedonia and Ed Nahorny (Michele) of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Katilee Gingher of Macedonia and Lauren Wright of Macedonia; and her great grandchildren, Savanna Thornal, Casey Thornal and Niklaus Wright.
