He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Henry Neeley and Annie May Philips Neeley; his wife Frances Neeley; his sisters, Hester Mae Dotson and Edna Fay Neeley; and his brother-in-law Howard Davlin (Ruby).
He is survived by: his children, Janet Marie Wood of Montmorenci, SC, Julia Lynn Neeley of Montmorenci, SC, Ronnie Leon Wood of Montmorenci, SC, Gene Ray Wood, Sr. (Sandra) of Windsor, SC and Elbert "Bo" Neeley (Ida) of Beech Island, SC; and his grandchildren, Gene Ray Wood, Jr. and Angel Lynn Wood.
