She is survived by : her husband Kirk Dennis Newton; her children, Steve Newton (Libby) and Charlene Daniels (Ken); her siblings, Henry Spenst (Ila), Hans Spenst (Anne), Vic Spenst (Laverna), Martha Friesen and Esther Peters (Arlyss); her grandchildren, David Daniels, Philip Daniels, Daniel Newton, Caleb Newton, Corinne Daniels, Cobey Newton, Silas Newton, Adrienne Newton and Ian Newton; and also Katharina Klassen.
