It is with sadness that the passing of Ida Marie Bright (Moore, South Carolina) is shared. Ida, born on April 24, 1949, passed away on October 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Harry and Gwendolyn Gillam Wall; and her daughter Lisa Bright Owens. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Eli "Sonny" Franklin Bright; her daughters, Hope Hicks (Arthur Hicks), Holly Bright and Beverly Moore; her siblings, Ernest Wall (Rhonda Wall), Harry Wall (late Brenda Wall) and Mary Lee Black (Earl); and her grandchildren, Scott, Tabitha, Trent, Ashley, Solomon, Elise, Taylor, Maleiah, Skylar and Roslyn. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Christian Church (3841 Moore Duncan Hwy, Moore, SC 29369).
In honor of Marie's love of flowers the family request flowers of roses and daisies or memorials be made to Mt. Calvary Christian Church 3841 Moore Duncan Highway Moore, SC 29369.
