James Cantrell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Cantrell of Moore, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Cantrell and Iva Belle Taylor Cantrell; his granddaughter Caroline Heatherly Stevens; and his siblings, George Cantrell, Carolyn Cockcroft, Helen Hand, Virginia Hannon, Johnny Cantrell, Janette Cowart and Edward Cantrell.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Heatherly Cantrell; his son James "Brian" Cantrell (Kyle); his grandchildren, Aiden and Katie of Woodruff; his daughters, Erica Burgess (Ricky) of Taylors and Tarra Schmidt (Chris); his grandchildren, Lindsey of Greer, Taylor Lee (Adeline) of Taylors and Christian of Greer; his sisters, Tina Murphy of Campobello and Debra Adams (Clarence) of Jasper, FL; and his pet Sophie.
