The passing of John William McMillian (Moore, South Carolina) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McMillian and Maudie McMillian of Milton; and his former wife Carol Jo Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Posey McMillian; his children, John William "Chip" McMillian, II (Rhonda Sue McMillian) of Milton, June McMillian Wheeler (Tyrone Kyle Wheeler) of Woodstock and Everett Eugene McMillian (Elizabeth Provence McMillian) of Florence; and his brother Morris Eugene McMillian (Debbie Lowther McMillian) of Charleston. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nazareth Presbyterian Church (680 Nazareth Church Rd, Moore, SC 29369).
