She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel L. Watts, Sr. and Edith Clamp Watts of Pageland; her husband Robert Lee Deaton; and her sister Anna Laura Watts Hemminger. She is survived by : her children, Lea Ann Skinner (David) of Woodruff and Robert Todd Deaton (Michelle) of Greer; her siblings, Amelia Watts Clontz (Joe), Kathryn Watts Hicks, Samuel Louie Watts, Jr. and James Felton Watts (Janice); and her grandchildren, Laura Deaton, Caleb Deaton and Dawson Skinner.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Pageland (203 Pigg St, Pageland, SC 29728). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at the First Baptist Church (203 Pigg St, Pageland, SC 29728).
