We announce the death of Walter B. Grant of Moore, South Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 97. Walter will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Grant and Mary Fowler Grant; his wife Margaret Farmer Grant; and his siblings, Fairy, Gustie, Gladys, Maggie and Albert.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Grant Moore (Dean) of Moore, SC and Mark Steven Grant (Audrien) of Roebuck, SC; his grandchildren, Kristen, Katie, Josh and Mark; his great grandchildren, Micah, Madison, Landon and Gavin; his great great grandchild Selah; and his niece Carolyn Wright.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
