She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Jenkins and Rosie Poston Jenkins; her husband Harold Steen; her son Sammy Steen; her sister Thelma Smothers; her siblings-in-law, Jack Steen, Bill Sims and Julie Steen; and her grandchildren, Shane Lee Kearns and Susan K. Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Steen of Asheboro, NC and Tammy Allen (Billy) of Mt. Croghan, SC.; her grandchildren, Dewayne Allen, Marsha Kearns, Traci Hayes (Drew), Trenton Allen (Logan), Jada Hazlett (Daniel) and Macie Sheehan (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Kelsey Allen, Cale Nicholson, Kaitlyn Nicholson, Kade Kearns, Hank Hayes, Chance Allen, Chandler Allen, Hatcher Hazlett, Samuel Hazlett, Olivia Hazlett, Jonathan Hazlett, Ophelia Sheehan, Sullivan "Sully" Sheehan, Charlie Sheehan and Lennon Sheehan; her great great grandchild Kehlani McFadden; and her sister Ruby Sims of Mt. Croghan, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (7519 SC-265, Mt Croghan, SC 29727). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the same location.
