It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aleatha Black of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Anna L. Platts and Penny L. Robins; his grandchildren, Dwayne Robinson, Cereta Platts-McNeil (Kenyatta), Monique Robins and Brandon Platts (Kortney); and his brother Rev. Johnny Robinson (Carrie).
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Suburban Funeral Home Chapel (2336 Meeting Street Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 378 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464.
