She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Glenn and Marie Sims Chinnis; her husband Richard Spivey; and her brother Edward Chinnis. She is survived by: her children, Laura A. Allison (Bill) of James Island, Amy A. Allen (Frank) of Hanahan and A. Glenn Allison (Brooke) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Haulbrooks (Trey), Megan Burch (DJ), Tyler Allen (Amanda), Rand Allison (Lydia) and Ann Frances Allison; and her sister Charlotte Murray of Charleston, SC.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
