He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Cooke; his children, Jennifer Cooke Smith (William) of Mount Pleasant, SC. and Benjamin Wesley Cooke, Sr. (Brandi) of Mount Pleasant, SC.; his grandchildren, William Edmond Smith III, Cyrus Walton Smith, Anna Clark Mackenzie Cooke, Benjamin Wesley Cooke Jr. and Tallulah Jane Cooke; and his brothers, Donald Lee Cooke (Pam) of Charlotte, NC and Charles Michael Cooke (Lynda) of Mount Pleasant, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel (1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
