He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Burnett and Clara Burnett; and his sister Bonnie Tausch. He is survived by: his child Allie Burnett Delaney (Bryan); his wife Janet Elaine Iceman Burnett; his child Bo Burnett (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Raylan, Blair Burnett, Gavin and Drake Delaney.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Chapel (1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Nashville Methodist Church Cemetery (302 W Millersburg St, Nashville, OH 44661).
