It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce McCaw Howe of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry McCaw and Genevieve Anderson McCaw; her husband Arthur Gasque Howe of Mt. Pleasant; and her son Arthur Gasque Howe, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, William McCaw Howe of Mt. Pleasant, Bruce Howe Hendricks (Theodore Martin Hendricks) of Charleston, SC and Genevieve Howe Hay (Eugene Gordon Hay); her grandchildren, Bruce Hendricks Smith (Jacob), Theodore Martin Hendricks, Jr. (Tess), Ileana Marissa Howe, Caitlin McCaw Howe, Genevieve Pelham Hay (John), Eugene Gordon Hay, VI (Katie) and William Arthur Legare Hay (Megan); and her caregivers, Carrie Bennett, Sandy Simmons, Linda Barron, Annette Caldwell and Cynthia Gourdine. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
