It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carleen Anne Meyer of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in New York, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfreda Welch and Everett Welch. She is survived by : her husband James Meyer; her daughter Ryan Spadaford; her niece Lauren Marie Horni; her sisters, Mary Jo Romeo Pappas (Nicholas Pappas) and Christine Cangialosi; and also, Chris Horni, Christopher, Addison and Everett.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Church of the Holy Cross (299 Seven Farms Drive, Charleston, SC 29492).

In lieu of flowers, in the spirit of who Carly was please make the effort to do something special for someone in your life or an act of kindness for someone in need. Memorial contributions may also be made to the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance in honor of Carly.
