She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Riefler; and her parents, John Newton Kelsey and R. Mary Grabuskey Kelsey. She is survived by: her sister Jacqueline F. Spraul of Charleston, SC; and her sibling's children, Connie Quinlan, Jenny Chewning, Laura Hill, Heidi Fredericks, Brian Racanelli, Jeff Riefler and Billy Spraul.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (950 Darrell Creek Trail, Mt Pleasant, SC 29466). A reception will be held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Roger and Carol Riefler Scholarship Fund, University of Nebraska Foundation, PO Box 82555, Lincoln, NE 68501-2555.
