It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Stone Culberson of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Carter Stone and Mary Poston Stone; her husband William Arthur Culberson; and her son William Johnston. She is survived by: her sons, Van Hartsell (Jillian) of Florence, SC and Jonathan Rogerson (Amber) of Kinston, NC; her grandchildren, Samantha Hartsell (Rasheem McKenzie) of McBee, SC, Charleston Daniel Rogerson of Kinston, NC, Copeland Banks Rogerson of Kinston, NC and Campbell Brooks Rogerson of Kinston, NC; her great grandchildren, Genesis and Symphony McKenzie; and her sisters, Jean Anderson, Patricia Taira and Diane Lee.
