Clarence Carter III Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Carter III of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Rose "Bosie" Westbury Carter. He is survived by: his sons, Clarence "Beau" Fletcher Carter IV (Catherine "Tina"), James Dantzler Parler Carter (Elizabeth Marshall Carter) and William Cooper Carter (DeVeaux Quackenbush Carter); his grandchildren, Mary Catherine Carter Arthur (Rob), Elizabeth Carter Phillips (Ryne), Clarence Fletcher Carter V, Elizabeth Carter Harries (Ted), Marshall Caroline Carter, James Dantzler Parler Carter Jr., Anne Peyre DeVeaux Carter and Rose Cooper Carter; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Martin Arthur, Henry William Arthur, Margaret Elizabeth Phillips, James Peterson Phillips, Carter Legare Phillips and Thomas Augustus Harries.
