She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Hamilton Szymanski (Steve) of Columbia, SC and Susan Hamilton Smith (Noell) of Charleston, SC; and her granddaughters, Elizabeth Hamilton Smith (Betsy), Sarah Legare'Smith, Mary Mercer Szymanski (Mimi) and Katherine Legare'Szymanski (Kate).
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Chapel (1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
