Clyde DeLeon Rhyne Jr. Obituary

Clyde DeLeon Rhyne, Jr, 83, husband of Dr. Linda Hunter Rhyne died Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his home.

Born April 28, 1940, in Mooresville, NC, he was the son of the late Clyde DeLeon Rhyne, Sr. and the late Chalma Stonestreet Rhyne.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Gregory Rhyne, Sr. (Araceli) and Christopher Hunter Rhyne; one daughter, Beth Rhyne Best; nine grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Craig H. Rhyne and one sister, Chalma Lindler.

He was preceded in death by one brother Charles Rhyne.

Graveside service will be held 12 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Thursday at J. Henry Stuhr Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
