He is survived by: his daughter Katherine "Kappi" Widener (Justin) of Mount Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Ellis Widener and Weatherly Widener; his nephews, Scott Ellis (Lori) of Tennessee, Kevin Ellis (Gracie) of Georgia, Sean Ellis (Suzie) of Georgia and Mark Davis (Melanie) of South Carolina; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke Ellis, McKenzie Ellis, Ben Ellis, Liam Ellis, Christine Ellis and Michael Ellis (Vanessa); and his sisters-in-law, Janet Gianni (Angelo) of South Carolina and Helen Ellis of Tennessee.
