We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2024 we had to say goodbye to David William Powell of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Cleveland, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, David Kelso Powell and Rachel Alford Powell; and his siblings, Thomas Edward Powell, Robert Morgan Powell and Mary Rachel Cole.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Bennett Powell of Mount Pleasant; his sons, David K. "Kelly" Powell II (Tracy) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Phillip M. Powell (Rhonda) of Kingsland, GA, Robert E. Powell (Karen) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Scott Powell (Jill) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, David K. Powell III (Mary Beth), William Drew Powell (Meghan), Reece Avery Powell, Hunter Powell, Caroline Ann Drennon (Daniel) and Megan Elizabeth Powell; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Olivia, Reece, Ford and Maverick.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association SC Chapter, 2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130, Charleston SC 29407.
