Kennedy (Diane), Lemuel "Tony" Kennedy (Sybil), Inga D. Kennedy (Ricky Blackwell), and Leeshu B. Kennedy; aunt: Betty Hopson; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jackie Cobb, Robert Kight, Walter Powell, Gregory Powell, and Todd Powell; parents: James Kennedy, Jr. and Viola D. Kennedy; siblings (predeceased): Stanley Kennedy, Sonya "Cookie" Kennedy, and Awilda Kight; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Missionary Baptist Church (1544 E Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Don Kennedy's memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to support pancreatic cancer research.
