She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Joseph Benke, Jr.; and her parents, John Bernard Crooks, Sr. and Lillie Mae Pendergrass Crooks of Kingstree. She is survived by: her children, Julie Benke-Bennett (Rick) of Summerton and David Bernard Benke (Monica) of Summerton. She is also survived by three brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
