He is survived by : his wife Virginia B. Henderson; his children, Deborah S. Sweeny (Emmett) of Raleigh, NC, David G. Kennedy of Cross, SC, John C. Kennedy (Alison) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Kathryn Henderson of Maryland; his grandchildren, Ashlee Skinner (David), Eliza G. Kennedy, Anna C. Kennedy, Wyatt G. Kennedy and Dale Sweeny; his great grandchildren, Briar Sweeny, Bennett, Charlee and Emmy Skinner; and his brother Charles Lewis Henderson of Mt. Pleasant, SC..
