He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldridge Jeremiah Holst, Sr. and Mary Catherine Wallace Holst; and his sister Sandra H. Miles. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Holst of Mount Pleasant, SC.; his sons, Eldridge J. (Holst III), Jamison F. Holst (Bridget) of McClellanville, SC and Cameron W. Holst (Halley) of Johns Island, SC.; and his grandchildren, Eli Holst, Stella Holst, Jamison Holst, Ollie Holst, Riley Holst, Ronan Holst and Wells Holst.
