With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Grier Beaty of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Grier Beaty; her husband Rev. F. Donald Beaty; and her siblings, Esther Mae Grier Wall and Rufus A. Grier Jr. Mrs. She is survived by: her parents, Rufus A. Grier and Susie Mae Brown Grier; her children, Rufus (Beth Beaty), Susan (Mark Hamner) and Harold (Laura Beaty); her grandchildren, Ben Hamner, Vanessa Kennedy, Chris Hamner, Grace Beaty, Matt Albert and Julia Beaty; her grandchildren-in-law, Emily, Davis Westbrook, Thomas and Alanna Beaty; and her great grandchildren, Henry Russell Hamner and Riley Grier Westbrook. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
