With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Juanita Collins Rackley (Mount Pleasant, South Carolina), born in Easley, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025. She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Frank Collins; her husband Jack; her mother Christine McCullum Collins; and her siblings, Frankie Cornelia Collins Begemann (Carl William Begemann Jr.) and Robert Earl Collins (Barbara Ann Newton).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. Rackley II (Jenny Van Meter), Linda Rackley, Jack D. Rackley Jr. (Mary Kay Bailey) and Susan L. Rackley York; her grandchildren, Jack Davis Rackley III (Alexander Leverett) and Tiffany Kay Rackley Vaeth (Micheal Thomas Vaeth Jr.); her great grandchild Ruby Anna Vaeth; Begemann. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and their children-her grandnieces.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery (2304 N Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29466).
Even in the late stages of Alzheimer's Disease, Juanita's zest for life remained undimmed-she would see the sunshine and say, "Let's go to the beach."Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering kindness touched everyone she met.
