We are sad to announce that, on August 8, 2021, at the age of 81, George Howard Shaver of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Shaver; his children, Ashley Cohen (Steven) of Daniel Island, SC and Blake Shaver (Janet) of The Woodlands, TX; his grandchildren, Ansley Cohen, Harper Cohen, Anna Blake Shaver and Samantha Shaver; and his sisters, Gaye Shaver Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Madeline Shaver Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family asks that attendees to George's services please wear masks.

Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 57 Pitt Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
