She was predeceased by: her parents, Julien Leroy and Margaret Summers Dukes; her spouse Dean Bennette Livingston; her daughter Donna Livingston Tyler Laird; her sisters, Margaret S. Dukes, Jeanette D. Davenport and Virginia D. Moss; and her sons-in-law, Jeffrey Culler Tyler and Martin O'Neal Laird.
She is survived by: her son Dean Bennette Livingston Jr. (Tina); her granddaughters, Grace Tyler Laird Johnston (John), Charlotte Tyler Laird, Lauren Laird Frost (Brandon) and Virginia Grace Livingston (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Parker Cole Johnston, Hudson Tyler Johnston, Bennette Lee Frost and Brooks O'Neal Frost; her sister Lillian D. Salley Gamble; and her godchildren, Charlotte Underwood Cobb and James Strom Thurmond Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In celebration of Grace's life, memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home, St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Orangeburg, or a charity of one's choice.
