He was predeceased by: his parents, Quntis Brown and Ethel Lee Brown; and his siblings, Quntis Brown, Jr., Lillian Pugh, Mildred Brown and Gilbert Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Arelene Brown; his children, Lisa Brown and Hendricks Brown; and his siblings, Alvin Brown (Betty Brown), Mary Ann Brown and Olivia Brown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity AME Church (378 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
