James Frederick Martin III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Frederick Martin III of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2026 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frederick Martin, Jr. and Evelyn Juanita Nichols; and his brothers, Frank Anthony Martin and Jack H. Martin. He is survived by: his wife Gail Webber Martin of Mount Pleasant, SC; his daughters, Victoria Martin Grimme of Oxford, PA, Amy Rebecca Martin of Vienna, VA, Allison Martin Widders of Mount Pleasant, SC, Susan Elaine Martin of Boston, MA and Katharine Rachel Barnes of Parkton, MD.; his grandchildren, Sophia Helen Bartolone, Ava Madeleine Bartolone, Henry Erik Grimme, Dylan James Bartolone, Lana Juliet Bartolone, Ella Grace Widders and Abigail Evelyn Barnes; and his sons-in-law, Timothy Miles Grimme, David Steven Bartolone, John Carlyle Widders and James Christopher Barnes.
