He was predeceased by: his father James J. Grady, Sr.; and his wife Anne "Tootie" M. Grady. He is survived by: his children, James J. Grady III (Sherri) of Mount Pleasant, SC and Suzanne Sydnor of Chesterfield, VA; and his grandchildren, Abbey and Sean Grady.
