He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Sanders Donaldson Knisley (Sandy); his children, John Carroll Knisley Jr., James Coleman Knisley (Jim) and Mary Catharine Knisley (Jhon Montalvo) of Mt. Pleasant; his pets, Ace, Misty, Ginger, Rosie, Abby, Julie, Snoopy, Pepper (Pepe), Kate and Amazon; and his siblings, Lorena Duchene of James Island, SC, Patsy Jones (Bob) of Virginia Beach, VA, Cecilia Spell (Bob) of Charleston, SC, Gene Knisley (Natalie) of Mt. Pleasant and Eddie Knisley of Johns Island, SC..
