He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Dombrowski Gawrych and Joseph Frederick Gawrych, Sr.; his wife Barbara May Wallace (Bobbie); and his son Steven Wallace Gawrych. He is survived by: his children, Michael Edward Gawrych, Paul Scott Gawrych (Zoe), Bryan Joseph Gawrych (April) and Katie Gawrych Gilden; and his grandchildren, Caroline Gawrych Bean, Ryan, Sarah Gilden Brady, Jay, Suzanne Gilden Zais, Brad, William Joseph Gilden, Libby, Jennifer Gawrych Weston, Brian, Steven Wallace Gawrych Jr., Paul Scott Gawrych Jr., Chandler, Sophie Gawrych DuBose, Ren, Julia Mabry Gawrych and Joseph Campbell Gawrych. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
