Even though I was just a kid, I remember watching a movie that Uncle Al had taken of her marching with her graduating class from college. “My sincerest condolences to the family. I met Joy and Susan on a Viking River Cruise several years ago and was in total admiration of Joy and her life. Teaching mathematics and ballroom dancing! Her love of her family seemed to take center stage though. The world could use more Joys. She will be missed by many.”

“Unfortunately, traveling with my Mom is difficult. But we send love ands big hugs. I’m happy I was able to reconnect with Aunt Joy within the last two years. My very first memory of her was when I was around 5, Uncle Al brought her to our house in Jefferson Twp. to meet us. She took to me right away. She did my hair up in a “Pebbles “ style ponytail, I loved it! Her attention to me through the years was always appreciated. It never occurred to me that she was only 14 years older than me. Bonnie”
