He was predeceased by : his parents, Adib Daoud Suleiman and Salma Qusta Al-Saed. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Daoud; his daughters, Leila McAlhany and Diana Warner; his granddaughters, Serena and Savannah McAlhany; and his sister Suaad Simman.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Palmetto Presbyterian Church (1720 Carolina Park Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29466).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
