She was predeceased by: her husband James Pinckney; her parents, Millard Chisolm Ackerman and Rebecca Boston; her son James Rodney Pinckney; her siblings, Elnora Parker (Theodore), Rev. James Smalls, Sr. (Clara), Lillian Holmes (Isaac), Coralee Ellis (Willie, Sr.), Isaac Brown (Lucille) and Henry Ackerman; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Pinckney, Millard Ackerman, Jr., Harry Ackerman and Leroy Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Pinckney, Kelvin Pinckney (Cathleen), Pamela P. Green (Elston), Kenneth Pinckney, Angela P. Davis (Jonathan), Darryl Pinckney, Darren Pinckney (Denise) and Nathaniel Manigault (Janet); her sisters, Floreen Brown and Alfreda Gilbert (Samuel); and her sisters-in-law, Mildred Ackerman, Betty Ackerman and Helen Burns. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
