In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nell leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nell may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gordon Hogue (Mildred Mann Hogue) and Gulfport; her husband Jack Bourgeois; her daughter Jackie Southerland; her son-in-law Bill Southerland; and her sister Betty Jean Muller.
She is survived by: her children, David Bourgeois (Gloria) of Brentwood and Cindy Hollar (Chris) of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Feed My Sheep in Gulfport, continuing Nell's legacy of giving.
