It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Sturke of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Essex, Connecticut, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Segee and Marion Segee; her husband Stanley Sturke; and her brother Donald Segee. She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra Trochanowski (Tom) of Neptune, NJ, Sally Byrnes (John) of Mount Pleasant and Susan Mooney of Mount Pleasant; her grandchildren, Kelly, Casey, Corey, Sean, Jenna and Erin; and her great grandchildren, Sadie and Dominic. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
