It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Jane Allen in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Stella Jane's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Stella Jane has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Hardy and Mary Jane Hardy; her husband Roger Allen; and her sisters, Sandra Shaner and Kathy Egley.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Lynn Hardy; her granddaughter Stephanie Lynn Hardy; and her brothers, Terry L. Hardy and Colonel Leonard D. Hardy Jr..
She also struggled in her final years with Alzheimer's Disease.
