He was predeceased by : his parents, William P. Walker, Sr. and Mabel Isaac Walker; and his brother Robert Walker. He is survived by : his wife Vicki Simmons Walker; his sons, Thomas Walker, Jr. of New York and Matthew Walker (Jessica) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandson Wynn Walker; and his brothers, William Walker (Amelia) of Lexington and Cary Walker (Dina) of Mt. Pleasant.
