It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Clifton Orvin of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson H. Orvin and Clara H. Orvin. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Orvin Katonica (Andrew) of Charlotte, NC, Daniel Quigley Orvin (Nichole) of Daniel Island, SC, Jennifer Orvin Czaplinski (Bill) of Indian Land, SC and Franklin Carley Orvin (Kelly) of Chesapeake, VA; his siblings, Clara Jean Parker of Boise, Janice Denny (Keith) of Greenville, SC, Irene Logan of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Richard Orvin (Flora Ann) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and his grandchildren, Turner Orvin, Mary Orvin, Ella Clair Orvin, Miles Orvin, John Orvin and Eliza Joy Czaplinski.
