It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Mark Mahan of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Mahan, Sr. and Marie E. Christopher Mahan; and his sister Patsy Wehde. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Monica Paquette (Timothy) of DeKalb, IL, Sara Genez (Nathan) of Houston, TX, Martha Gibson (Heath) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Timothy Mahan (Angel) of Daniel Island, SC and Maureen Marby (Richard) of Lee's Summit, MO; his siblings, Timothy Mahan (Carole) of Minneapolis, MN, Jeanne Flowers (Steve) of Gilbert, AZ, Michael Mahan (Karen) of Sioux Falls, SD and Edward Mahan, Jr. (Tami) of Mount Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Molly and William Paquette; and his siblings, Adam, Henry, Melanie, Charlotte Genez, Claire, Libby, Nora Gibson, Vivi, Charlie, Patrick Mahan, Kate and Lydia Marby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
