He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Rubel and Agnes D. Rubel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne Rubel of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his children, Susan Knight of Jacksonville, FL, Richard Rubel of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Christian Rubel of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandsons, Michael Knight, Alexander Rubel and Stephen Rubel.
