He was predeceased by: his wife Kim; his parents, Emma and Theodore; his brother Ernest; his nephew Christopher; and his stepson Nghia.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Brusati (Louis), Tracy Dykeman (Darren) and Karl Winkler (Angel); his grandchildren, Allison, Natalie, Sarabeth, Lucas, James and Emma; and his great grandchild Finn.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation (1520 Rifle Range Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
