He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Gordon Ross Hennigar, Jr. and June King Hennigar; and his brother Gordon Ross Hennigar III. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Fowler Hennigar; his son Gordon Ross Hennigar of Daniel Island, SC; and his siblings, Dr. Randolph Alexander Hennigar (Marianne) of Seldon, NY, Donna Hennigar Josephson (Hardy) of Richmond, VA and Sandra Hennigar Hallas (Kirby) of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, two great nieces and a great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, an organization that Rick was very passionate about.
